RABBI BENNY BERLIN
Rabbi Benny Berlin is considered one of the modern Orthodox world’s most dynamic young spiritual leaders. Rabbi Berlin and his wife Sara have a strong track record of igniting the spirit and engagement of every community in which they have served. They join the BACH after serving as co-directors of the Orthodox Union’s Jewish Learning Initiative on Campus (OU-JLIC) at Queens College, where they created an energetic and vibrant Jewish community.
Rabbi Berlin previously served as the rabbinic assistant at The Hampton Synagogue in Westhampton Beach, NY, and as the assistant rabbi of The East Hill Synagogue in Englewood, NJ. He received his rabbinical ordination from Yeshiva University’s Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary. He holds a master of arts in Jewish education from Touro College and is in the process of studying for his doctor of education in Jewish educational leadership and administration from Yeshiva University.
The Berlins and their son Akiva consider their home as an extension of the Shul and look forward to welcoming you.
