The Long Beach Jewish Experience  HIgh Holidays Explanatory Service:

Dear Friends,

I hope you are all well both emotionally and physically. We’re back and getting ready for another inspiring High Holiday experience. We’ve all had our schedules turned upside down. Many of us  have been sick, lost loved ones, or have  been affected in a variety of ways.

We understand and are putting in extra effort this year to help fill the void so many of us have been feeling .Things may look a bit different, but we’ll have the same energy, similar dancing and even more meaningful inspiration.

We will, at the same time, make your safety our priority while the virus is still a threat. The following precautions will be in place:

  1. All chairs will be spaced 6 feet apart
  2. All chairs and prayer books will be disinfected
  3. As of now, everyone will wear a face mask
  4. The kiddush will be a prepared “grab & go” in a take home bag
  5. We’ll have masks, disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer available
  6. We ask if you are not feeling well to please stay home.

I’d like to offer the following dedications to our LBJE family:

Dedicate a Prayer -$118

We recite many prayers during the High Holidays. We infuse them with meaning and inspiration. We sing, laugh and cry as we experience these special days. We strive to come out with an improved outlook and a greater connection to our soul. Take this opportunity to  dedicate a prayer to a loved one, whether in their honor or in their memory. Send me a short description of your loved one, and I will incorporate it into the service during “their” special prayer.

Dedicate a Yizkor (Memorial) Page- $250

We will be producing our very own LBJE Yizkor books. Dedicate a page in memory of your loved ones, and we  will inscribe it in the book.
